ICE!: Ah, cold food and cold beverages. We take refrigeration for granted in the 21st century, but our parents and grandparents had to rely on the deliveryman to bring blocks of ice out to their homes to keep their ice boxes chilled to just the right temperature. We'll take a look at the ice harvesting industry of the 19th and 20th centuries.
About the Presenter: A graduate of the MCC-to-OU BA history program, Charlie specializes in Michigan history and humanity’s relationship to the natural world. Mr. Shelton is employed by the Huron-Clinton Metroparks (www.metroparks.com) as a Community Outreach Interpreter. He is one of the most consistently popular MORE presenters.
